My life is a drama. I’ve got regular characters, repeating themes, episodes and all that is needed for good entertainment. My family is in there, and boy do we have some characters – the funny ones, the active ones, the passionate, the artsy and the list goes on. My job is in there also, and like any good story my job is full of drama as well. Each part of my life is rich with “stuff” and just like that series you are hooked on I have come to know and (mostly) love each character.
God is in there too. You may be surprised to find that I don’t consider God to be the Director of my drama! Rather I see Him as a character. He is the hero and even though I am the main character in my drama, He always saves the day – at least when I let Him…
My drama has your repeating problems and occasional crises. Like any good series, it has a climax and conclusion in each episode. Currently I am in a mini-series about whether or not to put all my eggs in one basket or to keep my job focus diversified. I’m not exactly sure what He wants, but I know He will make it clear. He is my Guide!
While I’m in the middle of finding out I’m just going to enjoy life and wait on Him. In this pic my husband Eric and I are enjoying a fresh cut coconut in Trinidad! It’s a great episode! And God was the hero in that one too! He revealed Himself and Provider and Connector!
Your drama is likely full of “stuff” too. You probably have recurring issues and characters, even the occasional crisis. Don’t worry, help is on the way! Let God be your hero! He wants to reveal Himself to you in new ways. You can trust Him!
Let’s talk about it: Who has God revealed Himself to you as lately and how did He do it? Leave a comment and let’s see how many ways God shows Himself to us! Maybe we’re all in this series together!
