I was seeking to improve my mentoring/coaching style. As a leader who regularly meetings with young people, it was important to me to learn how to best guide people through the tricky and exciting phases of life. Cindy does a fantastic job of using several teaching/learning styles to help each student fully grasp every concept. From word pictures, to in-class exercises, you will leave each lesson with empowering wisdom and practical insight on how to most effectively coach others. Since completing the course, I have used coaching material on a daily basis. I’d say my results were 100% positive.
Jess Freda – Professional Coach Trainee, Youth Minister
I had a sense that my counseling methods were not empowering people as I hoped when I got into ministry. The most valuable part of Cindy’s coaching program is that I am learning to listen more, both to the Holy Spirit and to the individual I am sitting with. I find myself listening for key thoughts and words being shared with me that may have the power to unlock that person’s situation and bring them into a broader place in Christ. I am finding that I am personally more relaxed when I use the coaching model. Using the Coaching paradigm has added years to my ministry shelf life and taught me to help people to learn to go to God and help themselves.
Eric Scott – Pastor
Life Coaching is a powerful tool to help others as well as myself! I knew what I had learned in the past was not working, and this opportunity had come as keys I had been asking for. I believe it is a tool for everyone….just to have healthy, growing Kingdom relationships with other people! The greatest gift to me is to watch someone be released into the freedom that they have been waiting for. Jesus always asked questions…..now it’s our turn. As a little girl, my Dad would say about himself, ” I am here to help people help themselves”. I think this is it, Jesus and Life Coaching.
Laurie Phillips, Lay Minister
When I first considered coach training, I was looking for a new endeavor. I felt it was time for me to take on some sort of training or schooling. I was seeking different tools that I could use to help people. I’m glad that I took on coach training. Nothing but good positive results. I was enlightened to a whole new perspective in helping people. I don’t have to feel like I have to have answers for everything. That relieves a lot of pressure. I definitely learned the value in just listening. Cindy has a huge heart, and wants more than anything to help others see and then reach their God given potential.
Chris Harrison, Addictions Counselor
I had an interest in becoming a life coach and have desire to help people grow, clarify and recognize their God designed potential. I wanted to explore the idea and effects of coaching and not a repackaged way of discipling leaders. The most valuable part of Cindy’s program is you learn how to lead people into taking responsibility for their preferred future as well as your own. I discovered a new level of courage and empowering for my leaders and my personal journey. Those who are within my circle of influence are feeling the impact of being valued and my life focus has greater clarity.
Eric Peoples – Pastor, Coach
The interactive nature of the training was very beneficial for me. The opportunity for personal expression was invaluable in helping me to implement the principles that I was learning. The most immediate benefits have been in the way that I communicate with others. In particular, I am experiencing improved communication with my adult children. Cindy has an amazing ability to take the best from different streams of thought and blend the information into a structured and practical curriculum. The confluence of ideas that Cindy presents is applicable to the entire person, body, soul, and spirit. Cindy has a passion for teaching life coaching and she will infect you with encouragement.

When I signed up for Cindy’s classes I was looking for a way to strengthen my relationships and to learn better communication skills. There are several valuable things that I learned in the classes I took. One was learning how to be quiet, to truly listen and ask questions that help promote discussion and reflection. A big “ah ha” moment was when we learned about different personality types. I realized people react differently to different situations based on their personality type. My results have been outstanding, as a leader of several small groups I have the opportunity to interact with a lot of different people. Many times someone will share a struggle or concern with me and thanks to Cindy’s classes I feel that I am equipped to be objective and help them look at their situation and discern real strategies for growth and resolution.
