Last time I disclosed my LifeScore Assessment Results. I got a pretty good score and I’m quite pleased with that!
Yet, like all humans, there is room to improve. My lowest score is in my satisfaction with my physical health and fitness. In specific, I need to lose some weight… again.
It’s easy to lose heart when you have an ongoing issue that isn’t easily or quickly resolved. And the older I get the trickier it becomes to stay intentional with my health and fitness.
But here’s the key:
If I give up trying I am certain to lose ground and likely to fail. In Bridges Coaching we say
Success is an active relationship with God!
In that regard I would consider this area of my life more of a WIN than I had previously thought. God and I are definitely in conversation about my weight, health and fitness. While I would LOVE for some sort of miraculous delivery from the process of having to watch what I eat and build in more robust activity plans,
I know that He is with me on the way!
And that has made all the difference. My value is not based on my waist size, but I’m also not excused to just let myself go.
Intentional living doesn’t happen by accident.
